Children’s Film Festival at Gables Cinema

First Friday Gallery Night

Giralda Under The Stars Returns
Enjoy the return of Giralda Under The Stars on the newly remodeled Giradla Plaza between Ponce and Galiano starting at 7pm. Last Curtain: The Humans at GableStage
Enjoy an uproarious, hopeful, and heartbreaking play that takes place over the course of a family dinner on Thanksgiving. Our modern age of anxiety is keenly observed with humor and compassion in this new American classic. The final performance is Sunday at 7pm. Winter Wine Appreciation Class
Wine enthusiasts will want to participate in Patrick Alexander’s 6 week, 12 hour Winter Wine Appreciation Class at Books & Books, starting on Monday, November 6th at 6pm. An intense six week (12 Hour) program designed for anyone who enjoys wine. Each 2-hour class is held on Monday evenings after work between 6 and 8pm. Getting Ahead of the Wrecking Ball – Nov 10
The Historic Preservation Association of Coral Gables and The Villagers present Getting Ahead of the Wrecking Ball, a half-day workshop to show citizens how they can be pro-active in protecting historic places. The event takes place Friday, November 10, 2017 from 8:30am to 1pm at the Coral Gables Museum, 285 Aragon Avenue. Learn: How To Be Alert for Potentially Endangered Sites; Designation, What It Means, Who Can Designate Historic Properties; and How Citizen Surveys and Recording Places of Interest.
