Goodbye Summer. On Saturday with the September Equinox, we turn the page toward the Fall Season. Days and Nights are the same length.

Saturday — Free Admission to Fairchild Garden on Museum Day
Co-hosted by Smithsonian Magazine, celebrate Museum Day at Fairchild Garden with free admission all day to anyone presenting a museum day ticket. Saturday – Pulitzer-Prize winning journalist Jose Antonio Vargas
Jose Antonio Vargas, called “the most famous undocumented immigrant in America,” tackles one of the defining issues of our time in Dear America: Notes of an Undocumented Citizen — an explosive and deeply personal call to arms. Monday – Wine Appreciation Class
Over six Monday evenings, students sample 24 different wines and learn everything about the magic grape — from terroir and varietal, to taste and history. The class ends with a final dinner by Chef Allen Susser that is paired to the wines the class has enjoyed the most. The cost is $135 per person. Books & Books is located at 265 Aragon.
