Victor Fleming’s celebrated musical The Wizard of Oz turns 80 years old. Based on a book by L. Frank Baum, the film is about country girl Dorothy Gale (Judy Garland) who is swept away by a tornado (with her dog Toto) to the magical land of Oz.
