Benedict plays the title role of Shakespeare’s great tragedy. As a country arms itself for war, a family tears itself apart. Little Shop of Horrors at Ring Theatre
Arriving at the beginning of the Ring Theatre’s 2019-20 season and just in time to inspire you for Halloween, this gem of an American musical comedy marked one of the first collaborations between composer Alan Menken and lyricist/book writer Howard Ashman. Inspired by the 1960 dark comedy horror film of the same name, it tells the story of a down-on-his-luck resident of Skid Row who is offered the girl of his dreams, fame, and success from an all-powerful carnivorous plant… but at what cost? Wednesday – Bobby Flay’s Bobby at Home Tour

Thursday – Oktoberfest Coral Gables Starts
Harald is celebrating 25 years of Oktoberfest in Coral Gables from October 3 to 13, featuring two weeks of Beer Fest, Music Fest, Authentic German Food Fest and lots of fun entertainment in the heart of the City, with free admission. http://oktoberfestinmiami.com/

Oct 6 – Orchestra Miami – Mozart’s Magnificent Voyage
Travel back in time as Orchestra Miami begins the Nicklaus Children’s Pinecrest Urgent Care Center’s Family Fun Concert Series with Mozart’s Magnificent Voyage, starting at 3pm at Pinecrest Gardens. https://www.orchestramiami.org/mozarts-voyage

Oct 26 – Halloween Haunted Mansion Party
The Coral Gables Woman’s Club presents the Seventh Annual Halloween Haunted Mansion Party with Toxic Treats, Poisonous Eats and Creepy Peeps. Enjoy the Costume Contest, Raffle, and music by DJ Johnny. Doors open at 7:30pm and the party continues until 11pm. Tickets are $50. Proceeds support the Coral Gables Children’s Dental Clinic. Nov 7 to 10 – Miami International Children’s Film Festival
MICFF returns this November in partnership with the prestigious New York International Children’s Film Festival. Culturally rich, entertaining, and inexpensive family fun, the festival returns for four days of highly-acclaimed international cinema for children and families, offering a unique opportunity to cultivate critical appreciation for intelligent films among younger people, while educating and entertaining.
