Halloween Haunted Mansion Party
Saturday – Halloween Haunted Mansion Party
The Coral Gables Woman’s Club presents the Seventh Annual Halloween Haunted Mansion Party with Toxic Treats, Poisonous Eats and Creepy Peeps. Enjoy the Costume Contest, Raffle, and music by DJ Johnny. Doors open at 7:30pm and the party continues until 11pm. Tickets are $50. Proceeds support the Coral Gables Children’s Dental Clinic. Thursday – Haunted House at the Youth Center
Kids: Prepare to be scared at this super-fun and safe Halloween Haunted House event. Enjoy a frightful evening at 405 Haunted House from 6:30 to 10pm — if you dare. Historian Jeff Blakley at Gables Museum
Nov 3 – Historian Jeff Blakley at Gables Museum
Jeff Blakley will discuss some of his articles and essays on the history of South Dade. A native of Homestead, since his retirement, Jeff has followed his passion for local history. He is an independent scholar who writes articles for his website, Historic South Dade and volunteers at the Historic Homestead Town Hall Museum, focusing on the history of the area from Goulds down to Florida City. The Mystery Of Edwin Drood at the Ring Theatre
Nov 14 – The Mystery Of Edwin Drood at the Ring
Based on the book, music and lyrics by Rupert Holmes, this hilarious musical whodunit — winner of the Tony Award in 1986 for Best Musical — is loosely based on Charles Dickens’ famous unfinished novel. Taking audience participation to new heights, you directly affect the play’s outcome by voting for whomever you think murdered the unfortunate young Edwin Drood.
