Thursday – Raul Midón’s Homecoming
Described by The New York Times as “a one-man band who turns a guitar into an orchestra and his voice into a chorus,” singer and songwriter Raul Midón returns to his alma mater for a solo appearance, starting at 7:30pm at Gusman Concert Hall. MICFF returns this November in partnership with the prestigious New York International Children’s Film Festival. Seraphic Fire performs at Saint Philip’s Church, starting at 7:30pm. Hildegard of Bingen’s music has echoed over centuries since she put them down on paper. Universally revered as one of the greatest minds of the Middle Ages, Hildegard was the very definition of Medieval Mystic. Her Ordo Virtutum features a cast including Mercy, Victory, Patience, Discretion and Charity.
