Juan Roberto Diago: 20 Years of Creation
A solo exhibition of works by gallery-represented Contemporary Cuban artist Juan Roberto Diago. Diago's bold work embodies the Afro-Cuban experience and examines themes of marginalization and ancestry. Cernuda Arte Gallery is located at 3155 Ponce. Call 305-461-1050.

Saturday - It’s A Kazoo Out There
The Alhambra Orchestra, conducted by Daniel Andai, will present a special one-hour symphonic program for children, free, starting at 3pm at Pinecrest Gardens. The program includes movie themes from Wonder Woman and Frozen, the hilarious One Bow Concerto, a magical new work by a local composer, and the premiere of Justin Locke’s lively musical play Concerto for Kazoo and Famous Cellist, featuring FIU professor and Amernet String Quartet cellist Jason Calloway. It’s a great way to introduce children to the magic of a live orchestra in a lovely setting, with light-hearted music and fun for all ages.

Saturday - World Premiere - Watson at GableStage
Based on the life of IBM founder Thomas J. Watson, Sr., this is the story of the Nazi's use of IBM's pre-computer technology and the world's first "personal information" catastrophe -- the systematic identification of Jews. In 1937, Watson became the first American to receive the Order of the German Eagle award, one of the highest honors Adolf Hitler ever bestowed on a non-German.

Saturday - The NightGarden at Fairchild
NightGarden is an enchanted, illuminated experience full of fantasy and wonderment at Fairchild Garden where the wise-talking tree, flying fairies, holographic butterflies and floating orchids throughout multiple acres of dazzling magic come to life. Topping the experience is a delightful selection from some of Miami’s best restaurants.

Saturday - Coral Gables Then and Now 1939 Party
Celebrate the Golden Age Of Movies at the Coral Gables Museum, honoring the birth of this historic building during the depression era of 1939, the city's venerable Police and Fire Department headquarters. The entire Museum will be transformed into a series of glamorous activations, with each area and gallery evoking the Golden Age of Hollywood -- complete with chic clubs and big bands, homages to cinema milestones like “Gone With The Wind” and “The Wizard of Oz,” vintage automobiles, old-school casinos, and a private speakeasy -- where you’ll have to know the secret password to get in!

Dec 5 - Prohibition Repeal Party Speakeasy
Get ready to party like it's 1933 at the historic Coral Gables Woman's Club to celebrate the repeal of Prohibition on December 5, 1933 with a speakeasy atmosphere. Enjoy complimentary beer, wine and prohibition punch with catered appetizers and delicious desserts, plus an assortment of fine spirits at the luxury tasting bar. Celebrate the repeal of the 19th amendment and the end of prohibition with a Champagne toast.

Dec 7 - Villagers' Holiday Tour - Inside Out - A South Florida Lifestyle
Make plans to attend the annual Holiday House Tour presented by The Villager's historical association from 10am to 3pm, featuring five distinctive homes -- one each from the 50s, 60s, and 80s -- all renovated to accommodate today’s lifestyle, as well as two contemporary custom-built homes.
