Saturday - Big Toy Extravaganza at City Hall Park
View, Climb and Explore at the Big Toy Extravaganza from 10am to 2pm at City Hall. Children will have the opportunity to play with big cars, trucks, super-sized and specialized vehicles. Elena Sharkova is the Guest Conductor as Seraphic Fire performs at First United Methodist, stating at 7:30pm. The billowing sounds of the Russian choral tradition come to life under the baton of this acclaimed Russian conductor. This world premiere production is penned by ASC's very own Associate Artistic Director, Giancarlo Rodaz. All children, except one, grow up. The world premiere of Area Stage’s Peter X Wendy is an exciting and action packed new adaptation of J.M. Barrie’s timeless tale that stays true to the original book’s powerful and mischievous story. Peter X Wendy is a dark and modern fairytale about a cocky young boy who spends his never-ending childhood on the island of Neverland, and his adventure with the ordinary girl Wendy Darling and her brothers.
