Restaurant of The Week
Graziano’s Restaurant in Coral Gables

Graziano’s in Coral Gables
Since 1962, Grazianos has been serving patrons of Coral Gables with "damn fine Argentine" cuisine, sourcing the finest flavors from their home country. In addition to the restaurant on LeJeune, their specialty market located at 2301 Galiano, is a local favorite. The restaurant interior features floor-to-ceiling glass, a fire pit and two large grills - your first clue as to the dominant motif of well grilled Argentinean churrasco meats. Starting with home-baked or fried empanadas, you can't go wrong. Try the wild-caught Madagascar giant prawn grilled to perfection; octopus with ají panca marinade. The hearty salads, topped with homemade bacon fat vinaigrette, are sublime. The classic Parrillada mix grill is a great choice. From the sea, Branzino Al Asador whole Mediterranean sea bass is a reader's favorite. The robust selection of steaks is marvelous: Tenderloin, Ribeye, Cowboy, skirt --- plus rack of lamb. The pastas and risottos come highly recommended. Graziano’s is located at 394 Giralda Ave Coral Gables. Open 11am to 3:30pm; 5 to 10:30pm. Call 305-774-3599.

Seraphic Fire - Season S

Saturday, February 6 at 4pm
Seraphic Fire - In Pursuit of Peace
Exploring humanity’s continual quest for peace through the music of American composers Steve Reich and Samuel Barber, Seraphic Fire sets the anonymous poems of Irish monks from the 8th to the 13th centuries to music composed in the 20th century. Samuel Barber’s Hermit Songs are a meditation on solitude, isolation, and the simple joys of life. A special rebroadcast of the 2016 performance of Reich’s The Desert Music by Seraphic Fire and New World Symphony, conducted by Patrick Quigley, raises the duality of war and peace and questions the lengths humankind will go to achieve its goals.
