Coyo Taco Bar with Speakeasy Coming to Giralda
The popular Coyo Taco restaurant and bar is coming to Giralda Plaza, the eighth location for this growing chain of fast casual eateries. From 11am to 2am, the new venue serves fresh tacos, chips and guacamole, a variety of bowls, and features a trompo rotisserie. The speakeasy, accessed via a secreted entranceway, will feature a collection of Tequila and mezcal spirits. Coyo Taco is scheduled to open at 126 Giralda in August. http://coyo-taco.com/

Ortanique Celebrates 20 Years on the Mile
When the Miracle Theatre, a 1948-vintage Wometco movie house, was brought back to life, the city searched for a signature restaurant to occupy the space adjacent to the entrance. They discovered restauranteur Delius Shirley and noted chef Cindy Hutson, embracing their tropical Caribbean Island inspired theme -- "Cuisine of the Sun." The rest is history. Sunday Brunch at La Dorada
Celebrating 24 years on Giralda, La Dorada Spanish Mediterranean Cuisine Restaurant and Bar presents a delightful Sunday Brunch menu for $25 from 11am to 2pm, featuring two first course and one second course, with bottomless Mimosa, Bellini and Bloody Mary cocktails for $15. Tropical Audubon Society Volunteering
Volunteers are the figurative Wind beneath the Tropical Audubon Society's Wings. This crucial Conservation Mission takes flight daily with the help of volunteers whose talents, interests and skills expand their reach and impact. Whether planting native flora or removing invasive plants at the Steinberg Nature Center grounds, guiding bird walks or tours of the historic Doc Thomas House, assisting at events, or supporting education, communications and conservation efforts, volunteering your time and expertise will literally enhance quality of life for all South Floridians and for the animals with whom we share our region. Skeleton Crew at GableStage
Skeleton Crew tackles the corrosion of the American Dream -- and the economic, racial, and social tensions of a city, a workforce, and a nation. Set in a small factory in Detroit, the play articulates the workers struggle to survive. Their banter and confrontations are a powerful currency, posing urgent questions and revealing startling truths. Actors’ Playhouse presents Murder for Two
Everyone is a suspect in Murder for Two, a hilarious musical murder mystery with a twist: one actor investigates the crime, the other plays all of the suspects and they both play the piano! A zany blend of classic musical comedy and madcap mystery, this 90-minute whodunit is a highly theatrical duet loaded with killer laughs. The play continues at the Miracle Theatre through August 11.
