Greetings,

We're happy to bring you a few updates and notices of virtual events in the city.

The commission recently received the city's draft reopening plan, incorporating the state’s guidelines, outlining the proposed criteria and phases for reopening the city’s economy -- which will integrate seamlessly with Miami-Dade County’s newly released draft plan.

More details to follow.

Be Safe. Be calm. Carry on.

Rebroadcast Concert: Frost Jazz Vocal Ensembles with guest Sheila Jordan
NEA Jazz Master Sheila Jordan is a one-of-a-kind singer and songwriter. She studied with Lennie Tristano and Charles Mingus; called Charlie Parker her "big brother" and teacher; has performed and recorded as a leader as well as with top artists and groups, and then nearly invented a performing setting featuring just voice and acoustic bass. Jordan is a true original with an unmatched talent for re-imagining standards and inventing lyrics on the fly.

Originally performed on November 12, 2019.
