Greetings {name},
Thursday August 19 is National Aviation Day and Orville Wright's birthday, observed in the United States each year to celebrate the history and development of the aviation.
As always, make plans to enjoy the great outdoors in our little city. Walk down Miracle Mile, experience the live theatre and the best movies, browse the book stores, look into the art galleries and meet up with friends at the restaurants. Visit the parks and public spaces to appreciate the bounties of nature.
Enjoy the best of Coral Gables in the coming days.

Vicente Hernández Exhibit at Cernuda Arte
Cernuda Arte invites you to visit their most recent exhibition -- Vicente Hernández (b. 1971): Art As Protest, Protest As Art, a showcase of protest artworks by Cuban-based painter Vicente Hernández. This special selection of twenty paintings comes at a time of historic mass demonstrations on the island. Through this presentation, Cernuda Arte is giving a platform to a courageous artist whose incisive eye narrates how Cuba's present reality has descended into chaos. Photos of the current exhibit and information on the works can also be found on the Cernuda Arte Gallery website. |
