Friday, April 22 is Earth Day, an annual event to demonstrate support for environmental protection. First held on April 22, 1970, it now includes a wide range of events coordinated globally by EarthDay.org
Wednesday, April 27 is Administrative Professionals Day. Many employers and supervisors arrange events to show their appreciation of the work carried out by administrative professionals, to highlight their importance to the organization and to enhance their work-related skills.

Friday, April 29, the last Friday in April, is National Arbor Day, a time to recognize the importance of trees, with many environmental awareness groups scheduling special gathers to plant trees.
Sunday, May 1 is Loyalty Day, first observed in 1921. It's a day when Americans celebrate their freedom while remembering their responsibilities to continue the legacy of liberty. On July 18, 1958, the Congress designated May 1 of each year as Loyalty Day to foster loyalty and love of the country. It's also the first day of Military Appreciation Month, as well as Asian-Pacific American Heritage Month and Jewish American Heritage Month.
Tuesday, May 3 is National Teacher Appreciation Day, celebrated on the Tuesday of the first full week in May. It's a day for honoring teachers and recognizing the lasting contributions they make to our lives. Do children still bring their teacher an apple? Consider asking a teacher if they need help with supplies. |
