Best of Enemies - National Theatre Live
In 1968 America, as two men fight to become the next president, all eyes are on the battle between two others: the cunningly conservative William F. Buckley Jr., and the unruly liberal Gore Vidal. During a new nightly television format, they debate the moral landscape of a shattered nation. As beliefs are challenged and slurs slung, a new frontier in American politics is opening and television news is about to be transformed forever. David Harewood (Homeland) plays William F. Buckley, Jr. and Zachary Quinto (Star Trek) plays Gore Vidal, two feuding political rivals in writer James Graham’s (Sherwood) award-winning political thriller directed by Jeremy Herrin (All My Sons). Filmed live in London’s West End. https://www.gablescinema.com/events/best-of-enemies-ntl/ |

Evil Dead 2 - 4K Restoration
Director Sam Raimi’s high-energy 1987 horror flick Evil Dead 2 looks stunning in this 4K restoration. Ash Williams (Bruce Campbell) only wanted romantic vibes when he took his girlfriend Linda (Denise Bixler) to a secluded cabin in the woods. But the vibes turn downright evil after Ash accidentally reads from the Book of the Dead and summons spirits that possess Linda and relentlessly pursue him. Equal parts remake and sequel, Evil Dead 2 is a prime example of how to mix genuine laughs with shocking gore.
